Becoming a Healer
A message from Kyrah's spirit helpers:
You are a lightworker. Regardless of where you are, whom you live with, or what you do for a living, you are bringing more light into the world simply by being you. If you have requested information from this school or any other healing school, you are demonstrating to us a desire to be of service to others, and we honor this desire in you. We also know that you have many challenges in life, parts of your self that you would like to heal, and areas in which you would like to grow and evolve.
Know that when you express this desire to heal and serve, you will be led to the path of most light, one that will help you realize your dreams and goals, perhaps even some that you may not yet be aware of. Know that you are supported in this, and that you will be led to the right places, the right people, and the right schools, all in the right time.
This is not something to force, but when you really feel the pull in your heart, we ask that you honor this as well and not leave it up to others (including your spirit helpers) to make it happen for you. We hear some of you say, "If it is meant to be, it will happen", without making a consistent effort to create it.
By demonstrating a commitment to your goals, whether they be a plan to meditate every day or setting a plan of action to bring your dreams into reality, you are showing the higher forces of the Universe that you are serious, that you really want this. When you do so, the Universe will respond by sending you messages and assistance.
It is also good to know that sometimes when we are moving onto our spiritual path, we may run into roadblocks. You might want to ask yourself, "What - or who - is trying to stop me and why? Have I been stopped before, and was it a good thing? How do I choose to respond to this?"
Fear is one of the biggest obstacles to realizing our dreams. Fear of success, fear of failure, and especially in the metaphysical world, fear of being visible, which also makes us vulnerable. We are exposed, and our light, which shines so brightly, attracts attention to us that may not always be positive. This is part of the challenge of self: to learn how to stand in the world unafraid, filled with confidence and a sense of self-worth; and also to learn how to transmute negative energies, so that rather than being separated from others by a barrier in order to feel safe, we stay open and connected to all living things, both temporal and spiritual.
Our job is not to lessen or hide our light so that those who do not know how to respond to it are not uncomfortable; our job is to let our light and healing energy help lift the vibration of the Earth, her atmosphere, and all those who reside here.
So we would ask that if you feel a conflict between the desires of your heart, and the conscious or subconscious part of you that might be resisting, or finding reasons why you cannot follow your dream, you take a moment to find that place in you where fear resides (often in the stomach or throat) and talk to it. Ask it what it is afraid of, and what it is trying to do for you, because it is always trying to help you in some way. As long as it is helping you in a way that supports who you are and who you want to be, you will know that you are in alignment. If it is trying to protect you in some way by holding you back, show this part of you a vision of who you want to become and ask it to find a better way to help you, to work with you to accomplish your goals.
